We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team and support the sales department in delivering excellent service and achieving sales targets. The Sales Assistant plays a vital role in creating a positive customer experience by assisting clients with product inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring the sales floor is organized and well-stocked. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and a proactive attitude toward customer service. Key responsibilities include welcoming and assisting customers, handling transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, managing stock levels, and maintaining product displays. The Sales Assistant will also process returns or exchanges, resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, and communicate product features and promotions to encourage purchases. Additionally, the role involves supporting inventory management by conducting stock counts, receiving deliveries, and ensuring pricing and labels are correct and up to date. The Sales Assistant works closely with the sales team and store management to meet sales goals, report customer feedback, and assist in executing marketing campaigns or in-store promotions. Strong communication and time-management skills are essential, as the position requires balancing multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of service. The ideal candidate should also be flexible, able to work weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed, and capable of learning about new products quickly. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
