The Golden Lion Hotel is seeking a skilled and personable Mixologist to join our bar team. This role involves crafting classic and contemporary cocktails, maintaining high standards of service, and contributing to the overall guest experience in our heritage property. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, precision, and a strong understanding of bar operations, while upholding the values of professionalism and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to specification
Create and present cocktails with attention to flavour balance, presentation, and guest preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health and safety standards
Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and communicate ordering needs
Engage with guests in a courteous and confident manner, offering recommendations when appropriate
Support bar operations during busy periods, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Adhere to licensing regulations and responsible service practices
Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in a cocktail-focused bar or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of spirits, mixers, and cocktail techniques
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Food hygiene and alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain)
A professional demeanour with a flair for presentation and guest interaction
