Crynodeb
The post holder will have delegated responsibility for all the patients under care of the Consultants in critical care. He/she will refer to the Consultants when problems arise which are beyond his authority and/or experience. The post holder must maintain liaison with colleagues who are on duty immediately before and after. The post holder will participate in the resident duty rota with other middle and junior grade medical staff in the Department. The post holder will be required to actively participate in clinical audit and implement its results and relate these to the Trust and Directorate policies on Clinical Governance.
