Are you ready to move off the tools, out of logistics, or away from site-based work and into the next stage of your career?

Omega Red is looking for a reliable, organised, and practically minded individual to join our growing operations team. The role of
a Trainee Contract Supervisor is hands-on, supporting the delivery of lightning protection and earthing projects across the
region. Ideal for someone ready to step up into project supervision.

Who We Are:

Omega Red, is part of SSI Services (UK) Ltd, a division of South Staffordshire Plc. Omega Red is a specialist, design,
installation, testing and maintenance contractor, within the electrical earthing, lightning protection and height safety market.
Operating nationally, the business focuses on providing top quality safety-critical services for the protection of people,
buildings and infrastructure.

The Role:

* Helping to plan, coordinate, and supervise works across multiple sites
* Managing resources, scheduling labour, and ensuring timely material delivery
* Attending site visits, toolbox talks, and progress reviews
* Supporting contract delivery and health & safety compliance
* Working alongside experienced managers and field teams
* Liaising directly with clients and representing the business on-site
* Assisting with documentation, RAMS, cost control and performance tracking

As a Trainee Contract Supervisor, you’ll be involved in the operational side of project delivery from day one, learning how to
manage costs, drive efficiency, and support a field-based team delivering specialist safety systems.

What You’ll Need:

* A practical background in construction, building services, M&E, or similar
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Calm under pressure, comfortable with logistics and planning
* Strong attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Full UK driving licence
* Prior site experience is essential. Supervisory or team leadership experience is a bonus but not required.

This role would suit someone from a site, warehouse, or electrical background who is looking for more structure, stability, and
progression into operational management.

What You’ll Get In Return:

* Permanent full-time role with room to progress into manager positions
* Full mentoring and support from experienced team members
* Ongoing training and professional development
* Life insurance
* Cycle to work scheme
* Employee discount
* Health & wellbeing programme
* Free 24/7 GP service
* Employee referral programme
