The job:
You will form part of the Maintenance team, working primarily on supporting our Bed Production Operatives, by maintaining, repairing and servicing our static plant machinery- conveyors, hydraulic presses, industrial sewing machinery etc. As part of a small maintenance team, you will also be involved with various other jobs around the site, no day will ever be the same, you certainly won`t be bored and will be able to use all your skills and experiences to ever improve our Factory environment.
Your standard working week will be 40 hrs (excluding breaks) Monday -Friday. However we will require some flexibility with shift pattern during holidays and busier productions periods.

You will be responsible for all aspects of machine maintenance, repair, and optimisation, working closely with our production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all industrial sewing machines.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Install new machines and calibrate them to meet production requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all routine maintenance and repair activities.
- Manage inventory of spare parts.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Electrical qualification desired (e.g. 18th Edition / NVQ L3) but not essential.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills including PLC
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Quick learner when it comes to understand new systems, new electronics.
- Welding, soldering and fabrication experience would be advantageous but not essential.
