Job OverviewThe Asset Coordinator plays a key role in sustaining the outcomes of the Asset Management Strategy. This role is responsible for the daily monitoring of operational activities to ensure that asset data integrity and condition monitoring are maintained. The Asset Coordinator will ensure that direct technicians, Mitie entities, and supply chain partners are meeting performance expectations in terms of data quality, timeliness, and compliance. The role also includes generating reports and escalating issues to the Senior Asset Management Analyst to support continuous improvement.
Main Duties
-Daily Operational Monitoring: Monitor asset-related activities across operations to ensure that condition updates and remedial actions are accurately recorded and linked to the correct assets.
-Data Quality Assurance: Validate the accuracy and completeness of asset data entered by technicians, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
-Performance Oversight: Track and assess the timeliness and quality of asset updates and maintenance records from all delivery parties.
-Reporting & Escalation: Generate daily and weekly reports on data compliance and performance metrics. Escalate recurring issues or non-compliance to the Senior Asset Management Analyst.
-Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with technicians, supervisors, and supply chain contacts to ensure understanding and adherence to asset data standards.
-Support Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and insights to the asset management team to inform improvement plans and training needs.
-System Use & Support: Use asset management systems (e.g., CMMS, EAM) to track updates and support data entry where required.
What we are looking forEducation & Qualifications:
-GCSEs or equivalent; further education in data management, engineering, or facilities management is desirable.
Experience:
-Experience in a coordination or administrative role within a technical, engineering, or facilities environment.
-Familiarity with asset management systems and maintenance workflows.
Skills & Competencies:
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
-Understanding of asset lifecycle and condition monitoring principles.
Desirable:
-Experience working with subcontractors or supply chain partners.
-Knowledge of ISO 55000 or similar asset management frameworks.
-Experience in a compliance or quality assurance role.
