Summary
Join our friendly and supportive team at a busy NHS GP Practice
We are seeking a dedicated, organised, and approachable individual to join our team as a Care Navigator and Admin Data Clerk. This vital front-line role involves supporting patients, handling administrative tasks, and working closely with clinical staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including (but not limited to):
*Welcoming patients and visitors in person and over the phone in a professional and courteous manner
*Handling and directing incoming calls from patients and other healthcare professionals, including message taking, triaging and booking appointments
*Managing patient queries and liaising with clinicians when required
*Accurately inputting and coding medical data into SystmOne (training provided if required)
*Assisting with patient recall systems and performance improvement initiatives
*Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting clinical admin processes
About You:
*Friendly, calm, and professional with excellent communication skills
*Able to speak, read and write English clearly
*Confident using computers and able to multitask under pressure
*Experience with SystmOne clinical system is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
*A flexible team player with a commitment to patient care
Employment Details:
*Salary: £12.21 per hour
*Hours: 44.5 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday
*Contract Type: Full-time, permanent
*Pay: Monthly by bank transfer (on or around the last Friday of each month)
Working Hours:
Your shift pattern will be as follows:
*Monday: 8:00am – 6:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
*Tuesday: 8:00am – 6:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
*Wednesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
*Thursday: 8:30am – 6:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
*Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Flexibility to cover for team absences during holidays or sickness may be required.
Holiday Entitlement:
*20 days annual leave (pro rata for part-time staff)
*Paid public/bank holidays
*Holiday year runs from 1st April to 31st March
