Are you organised, great at multitasking and a team player with a keen eye for detail? We want you to join our great laboratory team!

We are looking for motivated Pathology Support Workersto help us provide the best quality care for patients. A degree isn’t necessary and neither is prior laboratory experience; we just want the right people for the role. Whether your background is in healthcare, retail, customer service, or any other field, we value your unique skills and enthusiasm!

You'll work across both LTH sites at Preston and Chorley and gain experience in the Pre-analytics, Haematology, Blood Transfusion and Biochemistry departments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing patient samples, solutions, and reagents for processing on our analysers.
• Help maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
• Support the team in collecting data and documenting results.
• Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring the lab is fully stocked and organised.
• Work collaboratively with scientists and other staff to meet our common goal- providing the best service to our users.
