We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance processes, including HACCP principles, and the ability to analyse data effectively. As a Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
After a successful training period you will be required to deputises for the Quality Assurance Manager. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress to a management role.
Duties
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement.
Analyse quality data and prepare reports to communicate findings to management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and support to staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Monitor adherence to HACCP guidelines throughout the production process.
Assist in the development of new products by providing input on quality specifications.
Qualifications
Level 2/3 HACCP
Level 3 Food Safety
Internal auditing qualification
At least 3 years’ experience working in a FMCG food and drink quality environment.
Working involvement in a HACCP team.
Working knowledge of BRCGS.
Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
