Summary
Work with York Limited are collaborating with our client to find Children’s Support Workers to cover waking nights in a short break setting. This will be on a casual basis, supporting disabled children with various needs.
The rate of pay is £17.40 per hour for a day waking night and £18.98 per hour for a weekend waking night, available over 7 days.
Other benefits include online timesheets with weekly pay, holiday pay, pension, monthly team meeting, casual dress and online training provided.
What to expect:
Providing sensitive and flexible support.
Following and contributing to individual and service care plans, risk assessments and policies.
Keeping accurate and timely records, respecting and maintaining customers’ privacy and confidentiality.
Communicating clearly and effectively with customer and carers and liaisinf with other professionals in emergency situations.
Workinf on your own initiative, as well as part of a larger team.
Encouraging children and young people to engage in the community
Working with children and young people to help them develop, no matter what their needs
Working proactively and supportively with young peoples' families
You will need to have:
The right to work in the United Kingdom
A children’s DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake one
