Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: South East London -Lewisham
Job Type: Full-Time & Day to Day Supply
About Us:Remedy is a recruitment agency helping connect dedicated educators with schools across South East London. We are currently looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role, can also do daily supply cover work in South East London.
Job Overview:As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students with special educational needs, offering tailored support to help them thrive in the classroom. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have experience or training in supporting students with additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN.
- Assist the SEN Teaching Assistant team with classroom activities and individual learning goals.
- Help students with personal development and social integration.
- Work closely with teachers to monitor student progress and adapt learning materials.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
- Experience or training in supporting SEN students is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and empathy.
- Passion for helping children with additional learning needs.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
