Residential and Business Services at Andrew Melville Hall is looking to recruit a Porter to their join their dedicated team. Andrew Melville Hall provides student residential accommodation for two hundred and sixty-eight students term time while in the summer months the Hall welcome guests and group bookings for holiday accommodation.
Working as part of a small closely knitted team, the Porter and House Services Assistants work together to maintain and deliver the highest standards of hall presentation and customer satisfaction. As part of the Porter’s duties, you will be carrying out routine and ad hoc maintenance works, ensure all Health and Safety Checks are complete and all in order, and be a point of contact for Students and Guests to report issues and ask for assistance.
We are looking for someone who thrives working as part of a team, is friendly and outgoing and shows a commitment to service excellence and customer care.
The post is full-time working 36.25 hours per week, 5 days from 7 shift pattern.
This is a standard post, 52-week contract, on 5 days from 7 basis.
Experience is preferred but full training will be provided.
