Job Title: Site Manager – Commercial Bar Fit-Out
Location: Birmingham Exhibition Centre (B40)
Rate: £25/26.00 per hour
Working Hours: 08:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday
Contract Length: 5–6 weeks
Start Date: Monday Start (Immediate)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the fit-out of multiple commercial bars within a prestigious site in Birmingham (B40). This is a 5 to 6-week contract managing a fast-paced, high-specification project from start to finish.
Key Duties & Responsibilities-
Manage all on-site activities related to the commercial bar fit-out, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification

Coordinate daily operations of trades, subcontractors, deliveries, and site logistics

Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and maintain all required documentation (RAMS, toolbox talks, inductions, etc.)

Liaise with project managers, designers, and client representatives to maintain communication and manage expectations

Monitor progress against programme, update schedules, and report issues or delays

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications

Resolve site issues promptly, keeping the project on track

Ensure site is kept clean, secure, and compliant with exhibition venue rules

Manage snagging and final handover process in conjunction with the client and design team
Requirements-
Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects, ideally within the hospitality or leisure sector

SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential)

First Aid at Work (required)

CSCS Manager’s card (preferred)

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
-
Confident in reading drawings and managing multiple trades

Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Experience working in live or operational environments (exhibition centres, venues) is advantageous
