Warehouse operative - Repacker
We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our client's team in Spalding (PE11 2BB). This is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking people to work in a busy and friendly warehouse environment. No experience needed - just a good attitude and a willingness to learn.
The Spalding site is one of the largest in their Temperature Controlled Distribution network.
Role of a warehouse operative (Repacker)
- Receiving and inspecting deliveries of goods and supplies.
- Checking for damaged or missing items in received shipments.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using manual handling techniques
- Moving and storing products within the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts
- Repacking products into retail-ready packaging based on client specifications and quality standards.
- Working on a repack production line, handling goods efficiently and carefully.
- Conducting basic quality control during packing and repacking stages.
- Managing inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and replenishing shelves.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Operating and managing technical equipment.
- Adhering to safety management standards.
- Adhere to all training, work instructions, and procedures.
- Any other duties depend on client needs.
- Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment
Pay rates:
Day SHIFT:
Mon - Friday - £12.21 p/h
Saturday - £13.11 p/h
Sunday / BH - £13.41 p/h
OT: (Mon-Fri over 47.5h) £12.91
Shift Patterns Available:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 18:00
(Includes a 30-minute unpaid break)
Duration: Ongoing
