Crynodeb
This role is responsible for the shipping of products, associated tasks, and general routine activities to support the general operation of the Company. There is a mix of manual and PC based activities:
• Pick, pack and ship products ensuring they arrive undamaged and in a timely manner with accurate shipping paperwork
• Maintain hard copy and electronic records in accordance with Company requirements
• Act as the main goods-in contact; checking, recording and distributing as applicable
• Ensure the warehouse area is kept in a clean, tidy and safe state
• Maintain the Engineering stock cupboard ensuring ERP records are accurate and up to date
• Maintain up-to-date stock control records and complete periodic stock checks as required
• Maintain up-to-date asset control records and complete periodic checks as required
• Maintain general stock requirements (such as packing material, paper stock, printer cartridges, paper towels and washing up liquid) and take appropriate action
• Undertake any other duties that are appropriate to this role
Job qualification and experience requirements
Mandatory
• General administrative duties
• IT skills including use of business systems (Office 365, email)
• Able to prioritise
• Customer service skills
• Process driven
Optional but beneficial
• Familiar with warehousing and logistics
• Familiar with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Stock control experience
• Asset management experience
Candidate requirements
Mandatory
• Able to work on own without instruction
• Communication skills (written and oral)
• Use of own initiative to resolve problems, identify gaps and needs
• Physical ability to pack/carry/move packages
• Able to maintain good working relationships
Working arrangements
• Max 12 hours a week – can be flexible on hours, days and working arrangements (preferably Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but would consider alternatives)
• Training will take place during initial weeks
• All hours will be worked in the office
