Standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday
Join our vibrant, inclusive community and play an important part in Amey to act as the stakeholder interface on site to the delivery of all Amey contractual outputs and manage Supply Chain to ensure that all statutory, mandatory and reactive performance indicators are consistently achieved within area of responsibility.
What you will do:
Delivery of maintenance and response works
Planning, directing and controlling activities.
Leading an operational team to achieve KPIs
Agreeing scope and priorities of work
Proactive performance management
Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
What you will bring:
HNC, or equivalent, level qualification in a Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or willing to work towards a technical qualification or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
Management level qualification in H&S and Environment (e.g. SMSTS)
Ideally you will be qualified in Building Engineering with experience in Construction or Property Maintenance.
