Casual Minibus Driver

£14.36 Per Hour + Holiday Pay (Pay Award Pending)

To Start September 2025


Ossett Academy are seeking to appoint a reliable and friendly minibus driver to join the Trust’s team of drivers to provide a safe and courteous minibus transport service for our pupils and students, across all sites.

The successful candidate will have the ability to relate to and work collaboratively with children, parents/carers and staff in a professional manner.

Candidates must be aged 21 and over, and have held a full clean UK driving licence for 2 years (minibus driving requirements). Candidates may be required to complete a MIDAS training course supported by the Trust. Successful candidates will be required to carry out vehicle safety checks before driving and work with minimal supervision to specific timescales.

The Academy are looking for candidates with a willingness to be flexible regarding shift patterns as required to suit the needs of the Academy. The role will include ad hoc hours on a casual basis and cover for other drivers in the team as may be required.
