An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established 24 hour hospital in Wimbledon, known for delivering outstanding patient care and team support. This RCVS Accredited Hospital, which proudly holds an ISFM Silver Award for Cat Friendly Clinics, offers a diverse and stimulating caseload, from routine procedures to emergency and critical care. As a trusted internal referral centre for nearby practices, the hospital handles complex cases and is equipped to meet the highest clinical standards, including laparoscopic spays and advanced diagnostics.
The hospital team works alongside visiting specialists in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and physiotherapy, ensuring exposure to a broad spectrum of cases and plenty of learning opportunities. This brand new Senior RVN role has been created to bring further structure and support to the nursing team. Working on opposite shifts to the Head Nurse, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating hospital activity, managing inpatient care, supporting branch communications, and mentoring junior nurses to uphold high standards of clinical and professional development.
This role is ideal for an experienced RVN with a calm and proactive approach who thrives in a busy hospital setting and is ready to step into a leadership position. Leadership training will be provided, giving you the tools and confidence to grow into a truly rewarding senior role.

• Full time position
• 1:4 weekends with time off in lieu
