As Yard Supervisor - Plant & Tool Hire, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of a busy, fast-moving plant yard in the Croydon / South London area. You'll lead a team of yard staff, ensure equipment is ready for dispatch, and uphold exceptional safety and housekeeping standards. A typical day might involve coordinating staff workloads, inspecting outgoing plant, managing digital order records, and ensuring all attachments and accessories are correctly paired with machines before delivery.

About YouTo succeed as Yard Supervisor - Plant & Tool Hire, you'll have previous experience in a similar yard-based leadership role, ideally within the plant hire or construction equipment sector. You'll be highly organised, quality-focused, and confident managing a small, committed team. You'll also have a proactive, hands-on attitude and be comfortable using digital systems to track records and orders.
To be successful in this role, you may have worked as a:Yard Foreman, Plant Yard Supervisor, Yard Controller, Plant Fitter Supervisor, Yard Operative Team Leader, Yard Coordinator, Workshop Supervisor, Yard Manager, Depot Yard Supervisor, or Yard Chargehand.
