Nursery Room Leader – Pre-School Room
Salary: Up to £32,400 per year
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week – All year round

Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to step into a leadership role? We’re recruiting a Nursery Room Leader (Level 3 or above) to lead the pre-school room at a welcoming and inclusive nursery that prioritises creativity, play, and development.
Located within a beautifully restored Grade II listed building, this nursery offers bright, spacious learning environments that inspire both children and educators alike.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting, ideally with team leadership or room leader duties
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of the EYFS framework
- A passion for early years education and child development
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable nature
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and families

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the pre-school room, ensuring high standards of care and learning
- Support and mentor your team of Early Years Practitioners
- Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS
- Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can thrive
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers through clear, open communication
- Monitor and document children’s progress through observations and assessments
- Maintain full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
