TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery based within Leeds LS10. The nursery cares for children aged between 2 – 5 years of age, working with the local community to set foundations for the children to learn and develop new skills through play. The current staff team are attentive to the children’s needs, ensuring that the needs of every child are met and the children are able to learn at their own pace.
The nursery is currently searching for a qualified Level 2 / 3 Nursery Practitioner to join the team. The ideal applicant will have had previous experience working with young children, and will be passionate about helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones in their development. The successful Nursery Practitioner will join the current team in ensuring that the children are within a safe and secure environment, and settle in well to nursery routine.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will:
• Hold either a level 2 or 3 qualification in Education & Early Years
• Be able to create activities based around the children’s interests that help them learn new skills
• Be enthusiastic and passionate about helping young children learn and develop
