Job Advert
You will work in the Living Well Falkirk Team, which is based within the Forth Valley Sensory Centre and provides a service to adults throughout the Falkirk area.
Living Well Falkirk services support citizens with healthy ageing, helping them to maintaining their physical and mental wellbeing and their independence. This can often mean that people avoid or delay any need for assistance from social work services teams.
The service is delivered via:
- The Living Well Falkirk website
- Living Well Falkirk Centre appointments (in person, via Near Me, and by phone)
You will be responsible for contributing to the continuous update of information within the website, and for delivering video and in-person appointments to citizens who need more support than the website alone provides.
You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working independently with people who use our services. Experience and confidence in using technology, including websites, the internet, Microsoft Office applications, and electronic recording systems is essential. The ability to work jointly with other disciplines is required.
Experience of working in a community care setting and/or direct experience of working with people with a range of community care needs is desirable.
We are particularly interested to hear from candidates who have a qualification relevant to the post.
You must have the ability to be mobile across the Falkirk area.
This post is temporary until April 2026 due to budget restrictions.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
