Job title: Female Personal assistant to assist disabled woman
Location / Postcode: Clapham Park SW12
What does the job involve? Experienced Personal Care assistant with valid driving licence needed to support a disabled lady with driving her to appointments, to take her to do her shopping and to drive her out and about in the community . The candidate will need to have experience working with disabled people . You do not need your own car
You will also need to support with personal care, domestic care, cooking
The candidate should be trustworthy, very compassionate and respectful. They will need to have a professional work ethic with the highest regard to confidentiality.
Hours / days: 16 hours a week including Tuesday and Thursday
Pay rate: £14.20 per hour.
Skills / experience / qualifications required: Must have a clear driving licence and have worked with disabled people and wheelchair users. Must have experience of using a hoist
Due to the specific requirements of the role, consideration will only be given to Female candidates; this is in line with Equality Act 2010 guidelines on Genuine Occupational Requirements. Section 9; Schedule 83 [Work: Exceptions] (Part 1; Occupational Requirements) - applies to this post.”
