We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Women’s team as a Kit and Equipment Manager.

Liverpool FC Women is embarking on an exciting and transformative phase, with a clear ambition to compete consistently at the top of the Women’s game. Central to this vision is the development of a world class team on and off the pitch.

As part of this journey, we are seeking a highly skilled Kit & Equipment Manager to support Liverpool FC Women’s first team players and staff.This role is instrumental in the day-to-day operations of the football club and we are looking for an extremely organised individual with a keen eye for detail.

Working closely with cross functional teams including coaching, performance, medical and football leadership – you will be a flexible team player with strong time management skills.

A clean driving licence and having the flexibility to travel nationally and internationally are essential.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the LFC Women Kit Department to ensure there are effective processes and practices in place that can service the team to the best possible standard; liaising with the LFCW management, coaching and performance staff on all matters concerning kit and equipment.
  • Develop strong working relationships with LFC external partners and internal staff from cross-club departments.
  • Develop and maintain an electronic monitoring and logging system for kit and equipment that provides live data of stock levels and planned distribution.
  • Ensuring the effective logistical planning for all required kit and equipment, attending home/away games as required in liaison with the Management and Coaching Staff.
  • Organise and co-ordinate all kit and equipment for away travel and the loading of club transport ready for departure.
  • Ensure all kit is fully laundered (washed and dried) correctly and packed away within the required timelines.
  • Maintain the quality and cleanliness of all kit and equipment assigned to LFCW.
  • Mark and maintain all kit with the relevant initials/numbers, as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of all kit logs and report discrepancies to the Operations Manager.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will hold a clean driving licence and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, consistently upholding high standards of behaviour and appearance.Previous experience in inventory management is essential, along with a background in working within a professional football club or sports-based environment, particularly with high-performance athletes.Candidates must possess certification in Safeguarding and Protecting Children (or FA equivalent) prior to starting the role.While not essential, the ability to speak additional languages and prior experience in the women’s game are highly desirable.
