Support Services Administrator

12 Months Secondment Cover: Starting August 18th, 2025

Salary: £28,840.00 per annum, plus Veolia benefits and pension

Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday with flexible start times between 8:00am - 9:00am.

Location: Watermead Way Depot, Watermead Way, London, N17 0FJ

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee administrative operations ensuring timely and accurate completion of duties, including management of core systems, procedures, and IT systems, Promoting the use and benefits of using the company systems.
  • Assist Support Services Manager and Contract Managers in managing KPIs and SLAs, including customer query resolution within agreed timeframes
  • Handle customer communications and complaint management, ensuring resolution and satisfaction for all parties
  • Manage reception duties, including visitor booking procedures and site inductions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, including liaison with clients for effective service provision
  • Administer and maintain accurate customer management systems, databases, and records (including ECHO)
  • Work closely with the Digital Transformation team to improve current processes.

What we're looking for:

Essential:

  • Proficiency in administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining records
  • Experience in payroll processing, invoicing, expense processing, and budget tracking.
  • Competence in raising purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, and contract management.
  • Familiarity with human resources functions, including supporting recruitment processes and maintaining employee records.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge or experience in environmental sustainability practices, enabling integration of eco-friendly initiatives into the role.
  • Certification or training in relevant areas such as administration, finance, procurement, or human resources.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite and experience using Google Workspace (desirable)
