Location: 11 Fairway, Whitworth, Rochdale, England, OL12 8UF
Hours: Monday to Friday day shift, 44 hours per week
Reporting to: General Manager
Rate: £39000 - £52000 depending on experience
Are you an experienced Technician seeking your next great opportunity?
The client’s workshop is at Rochdale and maintain a fleet of trailers and is looking for an experienced technician to join their team as works increase.
Trailer Technician Duties:
- Conducting regular inspections of trailers to identify potential problems with brakes, tires, lights, and other critical components.
- Performing tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections to keep trailers in good working order.
- Identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems, ensuring trailers are reliable and safe.
- Repairing or replacing damaged or worn parts, including brakes, tires, suspension components, and other mechanical or electrical parts.
- Performing welding and fabrication work to repair or modify trailer structures, as needed.
HGV Technician Tester Requirements
- Previous experience in similar role and industry.
- Full drivers licence.
