Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses RGN to join our agency workforce. You will work on temporary assignments across a variety of healthcare settings including NHS hospitals, private clinics, care homes, and community-based services. As an agency nurse, you’ll have the flexibility to choose when and where you work while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
This is an ideal role for nurses who value variety, autonomy, and a work/life balance, without compromising on clinical standards or professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to patients across a range of clinical settings.
* Administer medications and treatments in line with NMC guidelines and organisational protocols.
* Monitor and assess patient health, documenting observations and escalating concerns appropriately.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and timely interventions.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and clear patient records and documentation.
* Support patients and their families with empathy, dignity, and professionalism.
* Adhere to infection prevention and control standards, safeguarding policies, and health and safety requirements.
* Respond to emergencies and manage clinical risks confidently and effectively.
* Uphold the NMC Code of Conduct at all times.
Requirements:
Essential:
* Current and valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult, Mental Health, or Child Branch).
* At least 6–12 months of post-registration clinical experience.
* Strong clinical skills and up-to-date knowledge of best nursing practices.
* Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to agency work.
* Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willing to apply).
* Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete through the agency).
Desirable:
* Previous agency or bank nurse experience.
* Experience in specialist areas such as A\&E, ITU, care of the elderly, mental health, or rehab
