The Best Connection is currently seeking a motivated Driver/Warehouse Operative to join a well-established client in the Hailsham area. This is a dual-role position combining van driving and general warehouse duties, ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their working day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Driving Duties (approx. 50%): Driving a Cat B (Van) vehicle to make deliveries and collections. Ensuring timely and safe transport of goods. Carrying out daily vehicle checks. Maintaining a professional and courteous manner with customers. Warehouse Duties (approx. 50%): Assisting with the loading/unloading of goods. Picking and packing orders. Stock control and general warehouse organisation. Keeping work areas clean and tidy. Manual handling and some heavy lifting may be required. Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence (Cat B) - essential. Previous van driving and/or warehouse experience preferred. Good communication skills and a strong work ethic. Safety-conscious and reliable.
