Summary
Starting in September 2025, a fabulous three-day sole charge live-out nanny role has become available in Welwyn, Hertfordshire.
You will be caring for three happy and active children – two boys aged ten and eight and their sister aged six.
This family is looking for a cheerful and friendly nanny who would like to have plenty of fun – along with providing lots of love and support.
You will be required for three days each week (not a Friday). The days will be mutually agreed. The hours will be 07.00-10.00 (to help with breakfast and do the morning school run), returning in the afternoon at 16.00-19.00 (to collect the children from school and help with dinner, homework and bathtime). There will be an additional two hours in the day (to be added to the morning or the afternoon, whichever suits you) where you will have time to help keep the family organised – family laundry, keeping the children’s rooms tidy, preparing a healthy and nutritious meal for the children each day, ensuring they have everything they need for the day ahead, dealing with school communication, etc.
The family takes pride in their beautiful spacious home and any help to keep it running smoothly would be appreciated, emptying the dishwasher, running the occasional errand, etc. The family has a weekly cleaner.
In the school holidays, the hours will remain at 24 hours each week, but the timings will be a little flexible to allow for day trips and outings with the children. There is also the possibility of ad hoc babysitting. This will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating and educational indoor fun (board games, reading, jigsaws, craft, baking, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play. In the school holidays, when there will be more time, the parents are happy for the children to go on fun outings and to visit friends, so they can mix with other children, keeping them safe and happy at all times.
You will need to be a careful and confident driver, with a clean licence and a fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.
