Job DetailsPosition: Burger Van Team Member
Type: Full-Time / Seasonal
Pay Rates: Up to £12.21 per hour depending on age.
Due to the nature of the role, which involves operating hot kitchen equipment and periods of lone working, applicants must be aged 18 or over to meet health and safety and legal requirements.
Looking for a fast-paced, fun summer job to work with great people? Our Burger Van is firing up for the summer season, and we’re on the lookout for enthusiastic team to help serve up delicious burgers and street food favourites to our guests and owners.
This seasonal role also comes with the potential to move into another area of the business after the summer, depending on performance and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Grill and serve top-quality burgers and other menu items to spec and on time.
- Assist with food prep, stock rotation, and maintaining a smooth, efficient service.
- Keep the van clean, tidy, and fully compliant with all food hygiene and safety standards.
- Take orders, process payments, and deliver a friendly, customer-first service.
- Work as part of a close-knit team with great communication and high energy.
Requirements
- Experience in a kitchen, food truck, or fast-paced catering environment is a plus.
- Confident using basic kitchen equipment and following food hygiene standards.
- Positive attitude and good team spirit – willing to help wherever needed.
- Able to stay focused during busy rushes and multitask effectively.
- Available to work throughout entirety of August, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
