We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our finance team in a dynamic IT company. In this role, you will provide crucial support to the finance department by managing day-to-day financial tasks and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. You will help maintain smooth financial operations by assisting with accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, reconciling transactions, and supporting budgeting activities.

As a Finance Assistant within the IT sector, your work will contribute to the effective management of the company’s financial resources, enabling the smooth functioning of projects and operations. You will work closely with the finance manager, procurement team, and project leads to ensure that all financial transactions related to IT services, software licensing, hardware procurement, and vendor payments are recorded accurately and processed in a timely manner.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining financial records, preparing basic financial reports, assisting in the month-end and year-end closing processes, and supporting audit activities. You will monitor and track expenditures, ensure compliance with company policies, and communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding payment queries or invoice clarifications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to help maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle Financials, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, will be important for success in this role. Experience working in finance within an IT environment or similar fast-paced industries is preferred. A background in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline is advantageous, and a relevant diploma or degree would be beneficial.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with numbers, has excellent communication skills, and is eager to develop their financial expertise within the technology sector. You will thrive in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly support business growth and operational efficiency.

If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the desire to build a career in finance, particularly within an innovative IT company, we encourage you to apply. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow professionally as part of a forward-thinking and supportive team.
