Long Term Futures are looking for a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Kings Norton, Birmingham (B30). This is an exciting full-time opportunity to support Early Years and Key Stage 1, delivering interventions, covering classes, and helping to drive pupil progress in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Role:
- Plan and deliver small group interventions in Phonics, Early Maths, English, and Social & Emotional development.
- Provide high-quality classroom support across EYFS and KS1.
- Step in to cover classes where needed, maintaining consistent routines and behaviour expectations.
- Monitor and track pupil progress, feeding back to class teachers and SLT.
- Offer targeted support to SEN and vulnerable pupils, adapting your approach to suit a range of needs.
- Contribute to wider school initiatives and enrichment activities, including leading clubs or focus groups.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds HLTA status or a relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g. , NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Education).
- Confident and capable in delivering early literacy and numeracy support.
- Experience supporting or leading structured interventions within Early Years and/or KS1.
- Strong understanding of early child development and different learning needs.
- Positive behaviour management strategies and a proactive, team-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and pupils.
