Your new company
Hays Education are currently recruiting for a Year 4-5 Class Teacher at a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the TA6 area. This part-time role is set to begin two weeks into the new academic year (mid-September) and will run on a fixed-term basis. You'll be working three days a week, delivering engaging lessons to a mixed Year 4-5 class. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community and make a real impact early in the term.
Your new role
You'll be responsible for planning and delivering creative and inclusive lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and topic-based learning. The class is well-behaved and eager to learn, and the school offers a collaborative environment with strong leadership and support. This role is ideal for both
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners looking for a flexible, rewarding position.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Recent teaching experience within the last 5 years
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- A passion for inspiring young learners
- Eligibility to work in the UK
