Are you an experienced and passionate Upper Key Stage 2 teacher with a flair for English and a desire to lead? A vibrant and inclusive primary school in the heart of Kensington is seeking a dynamic Upper KS2 Class Teacher to take on the additional responsibility of English Lead from September 2025.
About the Role:
- Full-time class teaching responsibility in Year 5 or Year 6
- Lead the development and delivery of the English curriculum across the school
- Drive high standards in reading, writing, and oracy
- Support colleagues through coaching, modelling, and CPD
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of English teaching and learning
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS and proven Upper KS2 experience
- A strong track record of raising attainment in English
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for literacy
- Leadership experience or clear potential to lead a core subject
- A collaborative and reflective practitioner
