Domestic Abuse Refuge Case Worker (Part-Time)

Location: North London

Hours: 25 hours per week (Monday-Friday or Monday-Thursday)

Salary: £15-20 per hour

Contract: 1-2 months with the potential to extend

Are you passionate about supporting women affected by domestic abuse? We're looking for an experienced and empathetic Refuge Case Worker to join our team and provide vital support in a safe accommodation setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality support to women impacted by domestic or sexual violence
  • Carry out risk assessments and develop individual support plans
  • Advocate for service users with external agencies
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records
  • Ensure refuge safety, conduct checks, and report repairs
  • Promote service user involvement and feedback
About You
  • At least 2 years' experience working with vulnerable individuals
  • Strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on women and children
  • Confident in lone working and managing a caseload
  • Able to work within safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (IDVA/ISVA desirable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
