The Project Manager will be responsible for contributing to the management of the delivery of projects for the account - typically between £5m to £10m (aggregate of lifecycle and variations dependent on annual programme budgets). Drive progress advancement, project manage and delivery in line with agreed timescales and budget limits. Work in partnership with our Mitie FM and Projects Team and the Hospital's Project Co and NHS Trust to create, monitor and deliver projects which will include (but not limited to) refurbishment works and mechanical / electrical facility upgrades / enhancements and on occasions new development.
-Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and exhibit the required level of leadership and drive to deliver
-Maintain strong lines of communication and relationship with the Newcastle Account Team
-Demonstrated skill in managing budgets and account plans.
-Relevant degree such as Construction Management, Project Management, APM and RICS PM qualifications. Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's Degree) - OR demonstrable relevant experience
-Demonstrate necessary Safety Management, CDM and SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualifications
-Working Knowledge of the RIBA stages for delivery
-Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar Mid-level role within the healthcare or Project / Construction management industry (minimum of 5-10 years' experience).
-Strong understanding of Project Works and delivery within the healthcare sector, including the challenges and regulations specific to hospitals.
-Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
-Demonstrated track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets within a key account role.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
-Proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
-Flexibility to travel as required to meet with stakeholders and attend meetings at the Newcastle Hospital. (2 sites)
