Job Opportunity: Precast Steel Fixers - Major Manufacturing Site (Near Bristol)
Location: Near Bristol, South West England
Pay: Competitive rates (PAYE)+ Overtime
Hours: Full-time, long-term project
About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced Precast Steel Fixers to join our team on a major precast concrete manufacturing site near Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project with long-term work available for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Cutting, bending, and fixing steel bars and mesh to reinforce concrete
- Positioning and securing steel reinforcement using hand and power tools
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety and quality control
- Working efficiently within a large, fast-paced production team
Requirements:
✅ Proven experience in steel fixing (ideally in a precast or manufacturing environment)
✅ Ability to read technical drawings
✅ Valid CSCS card (NVQ Level 2 in Steel Fixing desirable)
✅ Own tools and PPE
✅ Strong awareness of site safety procedures
