Art & Design Lecturer– (Maternity Cover – starting August 2025) 22.2 hours per week – Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. Employed for
52 weeks per year – up to £38,186 pro rata.

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Art & Design Lecturer to join us on a fixed term basis, to cover maternity leave. You will
deliver, L1 UAL Diploma in Art, Design & Media, L2 UAL Diploma in Art & Design and L3 UAL Applied General Extended Diploma in Art
& Design.
About the role:
As the Art & Design Lecturer you will have the enthusiasm and drive to deliver these vocational programmes. Your role will
include:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the curriculum and assessment requirements
* Create a positive and supportive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential
* Assess, review and record learner progress
* Maintain course and learner records
* To embed employment skills in to the curriculum courses
To fulfil the role of Art & Design Lecturer you will have:
* Degree in relevant Art & Design subject (Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration or Photography)
* Experience of teaching in FE a distinct advantage
* Teaching qualifications – or be prepared to work towards this with our support
