About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning teams and uphold high standards across client sites. This hands-on role involves supervising operatives, ensuring service excellence, and actively identifying opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and grow our business through upselling and support with new contracts.
The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership with a commercial mindset, helping us strengthen existing client relationships while also contributing to our growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff across assigned sites.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure contract requirements and high cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Train, mentor, and support new and existing cleaning staff to ensure quality performance and safety compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations at all times.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, including stock control and reordering.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, site audits, and any incident reports.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Support operational management in mobilising new contracts and onboarding staff at new client sites.
• Identify and report additional service opportunities (e.g., carpet cleaning, window cleaning, consumable supply) to management and assist in upselling services to existing clients.
• Work closely with the business development team to support site visits, walkthroughs, and service presentations where required.

Requirements
• Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory or team leader role (minimum 1–2 years).
• Strong understanding of cleaning practices, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and COSHH.
• Ability to work flexibly and travel between sites as needed.
• Commercial awareness and confidence in identifying and discussing upselling opportunities.
• Full UK driving licence.
