Following a detailed review of the Trusts Clinical Coding Service, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the department for full time, ACC qualified, Senior Clinical Coders, with enthusiasm and motivation to join our extremely busy Clinical Coding Department. The post holder will have responsibility for the clinical coding of all acute specialties, by abstracting clinical data from the patients records and translating it into diagnostic (ICD10) and procedure (OPCS) coding classifications. With a flexible approach to work, the post-holder will work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines. A good knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology is essential as is a good standard of education.
