Your new role
As a PPA teacher,you will play a vital role in covering classes across EYFS, KS1, and KS2,allowing our class teachers valuable time for planning, preparation, andassessment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a range of yeargroups, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to the wider school communitywithout the demands of full-time class responsibility. You will be expected todeliver the lessons left by the class teacher and ensure pupils are still fullyengaged in the work and reaching their potential. It is key to having goodcommunication roles and being able to build relationships quickly with bothstaff and pupils. This is a great role for an NQT/ECT to gain experience invarious classrooms or for someone looking for a part-time teaching role.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Be comfortable and flexible in teaching all year groups.
  • Adapt to last-minute changes with ease.
  • Be confident in implementing a range of behaviour management strategies.
  • Enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of children, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), and other staff members.
