About the Role
This school is seeking a skilled and proactive Premises Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety of the school site. This is a key leadership role that ensure the learning environment remains safe, secure, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the upkeep, cleanliness, and security of the school buildings and grounds.
- Lead and supervise site and cleaning staff.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers for site-related services.
- Monitor budgets and maintain stock of essential supplies.
- Support school events and emergency response procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in facilities or premises management (school setting preferred).
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
