• This English Teacher role is a full-time permanent position.
• We require an eager and passionate English Teacher that will innovate and raise standards as well as attainment. A good sense of humour, the ability to relate and effectively communicate with young people are essential.

To be successful for this English Teacher position, you will:

• Ideally hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
• Have previous experience working as an English Teacher or within a Secondary School setting.
• Have some understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
• Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
• Have a passion for working with young people.
• Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
• Innovative and resourceful teaching methods.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional materials
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student performance

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
