At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for E-Scooter Mechanic to work with an important company in Newcastle - one of the leaders in micromobility and provider of share e-scooters
Shift Patterns:
- 5 days out of 7 - 8h a day, various shift patterns
Pay Rates
- £12.21-£13.92/h
As a E-Scooter Mechanic you will need to have:
- An electrical engineering or mechanic background, idealy with electric vehicles
- Tool handling experience
- Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis required
- Ability to operate a mobile device including having knowledge of in app-based workflows.
- Good communicator with the ability to read and follow instructions
- At least provisional, ideally full driving licence
- Flexibility and availability to work various shift patterns including weekends
- Willingness to learn, a great attitude and ability to work well with others - teamwork is key to success!
Role of a E-Scooter Mechanic:
- Ensure operational compliance and safety of all electric vehicles
- Perform a variety repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement
- Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the workshop
- Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned
- Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles
- Additional job related tasks as assigned
- Receive additional training to become a great mechanic!
