Support the delivery of the Strategy for Defence Infrastructure (40%)
Assist in the development of strategic plans to achieve MOD objectives and priorities.
Conduct analysis of issues as they arise and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
Maintain awareness of emerging issues, trends and threats.
Respond to ad-hoc commissions, including from other government departments.
Support work to improve MOD’s access to NATO Common Funding for infrastructure (40%)
Lead on the team’s engagement with the NATO Security Investment Programme.
Support the establishment of an NSIP Portfolio Office.
Working with the SPO Euro-Atlantic Policy Team, liaise with NATO representative to strengthen
relationships and improve opportunities for funding.
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on NATO funding processes and requirements.
Attend monthly NSIP working group.
Lead on infrastructure security and resilience issues (10%)
Liaise with DSR on the Homeland Defence Plan.
Attend the CNI Working Group.
Finalise implementation of CTM guidance.
Sponsor the review of JSP411.
Line management of 1 x C2 (10%)
Set clear objectives and performance expectations for your team.
Conduct regular one-to-one meetings to discuss progress, challenges and opportunities for growth.
