Crynodeb
We are looking for an energetic production team member to join our Lamination department. We are a manufacturer of melamine place mats, coasters and chopping boards, and will shortly be introducing serving trays to our range of products. We are based on the outskirts of Stamford, therefore, own transport is essential.
We have recently upgraded our production facility, and this is the start of new processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and collation of materials for pressing
Assisting in the various production stages
Operation of various machinery for the production; Hydraulic presses and Digital Cutting Table
Hydraulic heat press requires panels to be placed into the press with accuracy, as well as unloading the press. Cycle times vary from 5 - 11 minutes. Organisation skills are key to ensure panels are ready for the cycle opening, and placed into the press with the correct finish.
The Digital Cutting table requires preprogammed files to run to cut various materials for production. The table will run itself for certain materials, requiring an individual to collect these and place onto a trolley. Prints are also cut out on this machine for production, and these need to be lifted off.
Full training and support will be provided onsite and by external consultants working with the business.
Key skills and requirements:
Physical role that requires some lifting and you need to be active, so a good level of fitness is essential.
Good Numeracy, Literacy and Communication skills
Good organisational skills
Accuracy and precision skills
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday - 8am to 4.30pm (30 mins for lunch)
References preferred but not essential.
Immediate start required.
