What will your role involve?

  • Supporting the class teacher to create a positive and effective learning environment.

  • Working with small groups of children or on a 1:1 basis to provide targeted support in literacy and numeracy.

  • Inspiring and engaging children to ensure they are excited to learn.

  • Assisting with classroom setup and creating stimulating learning resources.

  • Being a positive role model for all pupils.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience working with primary school-aged children is essential.

  • A genuine passion for education and a patient, nurturing attitude.

  • The ability to build strong relationships with both pupils and staff.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to your work.

  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).
