Crynodeb
We currently have a fixed term vacancy for a college porter located on our main Bailrigg Campus on the outskirts of Lancaster. The post will run until the 8th March 2026. You will work 12 hour shifts on a rotational basis averaging 42 hours per week, covering 365 days a year.
You should be hard working, reliable, willing to learn and possess excellent customer service skills. Portering experience is not essential but desirable with experience of working in a similar environment. You should be educated to GCSE level in Maths and English and be committed to high standards, able to work on your own initiative and have a flexible approach and attitude to solving day to day problems. You should also have a willingness to undergo development training.
