Crynodeb
Applicants must be a pharmacy technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. In liaison with other Team Leaders and Senior Technicians, take responsibility for rotating and deploying technicians across all pharmacy departments. To ensure that technical staff and ATO staff are made available when required to work in other areas such as the Aseptic Lab and that liaison and adequate planning takes place with other Senior Managers to facilitate this provision. Undertake the recruitment and selection of any technical staff or ATOs as required by the Director of Pharmacy. Manage the sickness absence and performance and discipline of Technicians and ATOs allocated to your service through performance monitoring and return to work interviews. To perform PDRs for all Technicians and ATOs in the pharmacy department. To work with the pharmacy operations manager ensuring that through continuous performance monitoring of the dispensing service, all waiting times are kept to a minimum, dispensing errors and complaints are investigated and actions to risk manage these are completed.
