Job Title: Fire & Security Contracts Manager
Location: Erith, London & South East
Reports To: Operations Director / Head of Projects / Senior Manager

Overview: CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Fire & Security Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple fire safety and security system projects across London and the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable and growing business, managing projects from design through to commissioning, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering strong team and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities: Project Management:

- Lead the delivery of fire and security installation projects, from inception to completion

- Develop project plans, manage resources and subcontractors, and ensure timely delivery

- Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality standards, reporting progress to senior stakeholders

- Conduct site visits to assess progress and address any issues proactively

Technical Oversight:

- Provide guidance and support to teams on technical installation aspects

- Review drawings, specifications, and schematics to ensure accuracy and compliance

- Ensure installations meet relevant standards (BS5839, BS5266, BS EN 50131, NSI, etc.)

Compliance & Safety:

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire and security regulations and health & safety requirements

- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions where necessary

- Ensure full compliance with industry standards, legislation, and internal policies

Team Leadership:

- Manage and support in-house engineers and subcontractors

- Lead performance reviews and encourage ongoing development and training

- Promote a safety-first and quality-driven working culture across the team

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Act as the main point of contact for project-related fire and security matters

- Provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders and address escalations efficiently

- Assist with tenders and proposals, contributing to business development efforts

- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the division through networking and industry events

Required Experience & Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fire and security project management

- Certifications in fire/security system installation and maintenance (e.g., FIA, BAFE, NSI, SSAIB)

- Strong understanding of BS/EN regulations and installation best practices

- Full UK driving licence and valid ECS/CSCS card

- Proficient with Microsoft Office and MS Project (AutoCAD knowledge desirable)

- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Desirable Qualifications:

- Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM)

- Health & Safety certification (NEBOSH or IOSH)

- Experience with integrated fire and security solutions
